About Haekka

Haekka is reinventing Security Awareness Training by continuously engaging employees with timely and fun cybersecurity content delivered entirely in Slack. We have great investors and are currently participating in the Techstars Boulder 2021 class. Our product has been in the market for just over 6 months. We have paying customers and good early growth.

How we work

We operate 100% remotely (even when we aren’t in a global pandemic). Our culture is built around action and outcomes. We want to empower every member of our team to be successful as the owner of their function — we all act like founders. Who we are looking for

We want to bring on an experienced, growth-focused person to our founding team of 2. This person will be measured on the following KPIs:

  • Customer growth in the form of conversations (calls, emails, demos, etc.)
  • Installs of our app
  • Conversion to paying customers

That means reaching as many people as possible through direct outreach, networking, and social media. Given we are very early, the right person will take initiative, be creative, be open to experimentation, and have flexibility as goals change week to week or even day to day. We do not know what repeatable growth looks like yet. We have early validation and paying customers and will use this data as a basis for building a repeatable flywheel of growth. You get to own this for us.

What we can offer

We are open to either an FTE or a contractor (25 hours per week minimum) depending on the candidate. Salary and or generous equity grants based on candidate preferences.

Requirements

  • B2B SaaS startup experience in a growth focused role. Candidates with experience as a founder, marketing and or sales lead will also be considered.
  • Fantastic communication skills — both written and spoken.
  • Ability to craft compelling pitches. We want you to be able to sell our product better than we can.
  • Interpretation of product feedback and ability to communicate that internally to help our product and engineering team build the best product possible.
  • Excel at working independently. We can’t stress this one enough. You must be able to work with little to no supervision.
  • Cold calling isn’t fun. But it’s fun for you. You must have the willingness to cold call and email on a daily basis.
  • Ability to hustle, get scrappy, and produce results (KPIs above) at whatever costs. We’re an extremely small and young startup. This will be as much your business as it is ours.

  • Cybersecurity and/or corporate training experience
  • Remote work experience
  • A deep network you can tap to find leads
  • Founder experience (+100 for founders who have bootstrapped to revenue)
