We are excited to start recruiting for our first group of Associate Software Engineers! At Justice Reskill, we are passionate and committed to advancing equity in the technical field through our mission of training and career placement for folks in the justice-involved community. Now, we want to take that a step further by creating an Associate Software Engineer, specifically targeting up and coming engineers.
The ideal Associate Software Engineer is likely someone that has finished a coding bootcamp program and for various reasons, has not had the opportunity to land their first full-time engineering role. You probably have a lot to offer - both from your unique lived experience and ability to grasp the new technical content that you learned in your coding program. And you have an idea of where you'd like to go with your career in tech. If this is you, we want to hear your story!
How to Apply:
First, make sure you read our Organizational Ethos and other job-related information below. We've left out job requirements and qualifications intentionally to give you a chance to express who you are. Then, click on apply now link to submit your application. Your LinkedIn, Github profile and/or your developer website is handy so we can get an idea of some of the cool things you've built so far. If you have any questions or need any special accommodations, please reach out to \firstname.lastname@example.org. In your application, please feel free to note which pronouns you use.
Bonus - take our Skills Assessment Test to add to your application and email us to let us know you've finished it. We'll send you a copy so you can review it yourself.
