We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken sales development representative to join our team. The sales development representative will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process as a teammate to the field sales representative. Depending on deal size you may need to transition the opportunity to or work with the field sales representative. You should be able to close sales and meet targets solo or as part of a team.
To be successful as a sales development representative you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction remotely. A top sales development representative should also be very competitive, tenacious and a good team player.

Sales Development Representative Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and setting appointments for field sales representative
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities that fit in the defined target market.
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Explaining and demonstrating value of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Finding creative avenues to research and qualify new leads.
  • Working closely with field sales representative to meet joint targets.

Sales Development Representative Requirements:

  • 4 year undergraduate degree
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (GSuite)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Exceptional teaming skills.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve targets.
  • Ability to take risks and learn from mistakes.
