Head of Product

This is a unique ground-floor product opportunity for a highly motivated and resourceful person to be a leader on our engineering and product team. In this role, you'll report to the CEO and be involved in every aspect of our product from what we build to how we build it. You’ll manage our entire product roadmap including the prioritization and ROI of new features as well as ensuring our existing features are continually maintained and improved. You will be in constant communication with all members of the Printfection team as well customers and prospects in order to determine the key needs of all stakeholders in order to create our overall product strategy and market positioning.


The Company

Printfection is a swag management platform which makes it easy for marketing managers to create and distribute branded merchandise. We’re the first SaaS solution revolutionizing the historically stagnant $20 billion dollar promo products industry.

Customers include Zendesk, InVision, Gusto, Discord and many other category leaders.

After working remotely for half the week for the past 10 years, we became a fully remote company in 2020. All of our processes, management and culture is focused around trusting our team to do great work wherever they’re located. We're a fun, mature startup based in Denver that's bootstrapped, profitable, and growing fast.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relations with all departments in order to fully understand their needs.
  • Manage our company product roadmap by planning, gathering requirements and managing priorities for all Printfection teams and customers.
  • Work with engineering to gather technical requirements and estimate level of effort.
  • Coordinate with engineering and UX to spec out features, requirements and create actionable prototypes.
  • Manage internal SLA and time sensitive feature requests to prioritize alongside sprint work.
  • Champion user-centric design for our customers and internal team to create a simple, seamless and fun experience for all users.
  • Quantify the success of past features to allow continuous improvement on future development.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product development, management, feature management and mockups.
  • Experencie around managing priorities, expectations, and estimates.
  • Ability to break down complex problems, understand the underlying needs of others and find patterns across many disparate concepts to produce an elegant solution.
  • Experience effectively managing simultaneous complex projects across multiple teams.
  • Experience with CSS, JavaScript and HTML and huge plus.
  • You're self-driven and own your job with minimal supervision. This Quora post nails it.
